My work with venomous reptiles began as a hobby. I was fasinated by the natural world and reptiles. I spent my child hood looking for snakes in the wild to photograph. Later in life I worked all over the globe. I looked for new species of reptiles in Cambodia and Malaysia with an academic team, worked on pit-tag research in Costa Rica on highly venomous snakes, and traveled all over the rest of the globe perusing wild life photograph with reptiles/snakes in the wild. That foundational knowledge informs every physical capture, ensuring safe handling for both homeowner and snake.
